In a surprising turn of events, Madam Efunsetan Abebi Aniwura, popularly known as Iya Osun, has converted to Islam shortly after her release from prison.
Recall that was arrested on July 31, following a complaint lodged by Alfa Abdulsalam Baba Tonile Okuta-Agidi and some other Muslim clerics in Kwara state.
She was later release on bail a few days ago.
Following her release, Madam Efunsetan visited the Islamic cleric she defamed and use the moment to publicly declared her conversion to Islam, adopting a new faith

Recall that Madam Efunsetan Abebi Aniwura aka Iya Osun, released from a correctional facility in Ilorin, Kwara State.
Publisher of SaharaReporters and politician, Omoyele Sowore, made this known via a statement on his Facebook page, Tuesday.
He wrote,” #Freetaniolohun. Iya Osun granted bail in Ilorin, Kwara State. Two sureties with N200,000 affidavit of means. Keep them on their toes for the sake of justice.”
